Ohio State football releases rosters for 2018 spring game

Ohio State football released the rosters of its Scarlet and the Gray squads for its annual spring game at Ohio Stadium on Saturday.

One of the biggest story lines coming into this game has been the competition between Dwayne Haskins, Joe Burrow and Tate Martell for the starting quarterback job for the upcoming season. In somewhat of a surprise, Haskins and Burrow will both be playing on the Gray team, while Martell will be under center for the Scarlet team.

However, if you take a closer look into the full rosters, it makes sense why coach Urban Meyer and his staff decided to go with this arrangement. With the way the teams are put together, the Gray offense and the Scarlet defense are the players that are considered to be starters or on the first-team. The Scarlet offense and the Gray defense are players that will likely be back-ups for the upcoming season.

The game is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. ET and will be on the Big Ten Network.
