West Bloomfield 3-star wide receiver Tre Mosley has committed to Michigan State football, he announced Friday afternoon on Twitter.
Mosley is ranked as the No. 21 prospect in the state of Michigan and the No. 102 wide receiver in the country by 247Sports. According to 247Sports, Mosley caught 55 passes for 1,030 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2017.
At 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, Mosley could help a Spartans team that finished No. 76 passing offense in 2017. Mosley visited Minnesota, Missouri and Cincinnati during his recruiting process, but told the Free Press Thursday he “loves” MSU.
“Green and white, same colors as us,” Mosely said. “I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and the other recruits. I liked both schools growing up. It was split between Michigan and Michigan State.’’
Mosley is the fifth commitment the Spartans have earned this week, joining offensive lineman Devontae Dobbs, wide receiver Alante Brown, running back Brandon Wright and running back Anothony Williams Jr., who also committed Friday.
Dobbs also said on WLUN-FM (100.9 in Midland) that Michigan’s coaching staff “acted like robots” while the Spartans put no pressure on him to commit.
