‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet.

Long-haired Freddie. Leotard Freddie. Fur-coat Freddie. Leather Freddie. Tank top and bicep bracelet Freddie.
Yep, Rami Malek rocks all of Freddie Mercury’s most iconic looks in the new trailer for the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, released Tuesday.
The clip, which begins with the unmistakable bass line from Another One Bites the Dust, also boasts a foot-stomping edit of the band’s greatest hits and very little dialogue, save for a couple choice lines from Mercury.
We do see the scene where Mercury and guitarist Brian May (Gwilym Lee) are in the studio arranging Bohemian Rhapsody, the unlikely 1975 six-minute classic from which the movie gets its name.
After finishing a guitar lick, May inquires, “So now what?”
Mercury giddily replies, “This is where the operatic section comes in.”
Later, when a record label exec complains about how the song “goes on forever,” Mercury zings him: “I pity your wife if you think six minutes is forever.”
Yep, looks like his sense of humor is presented and accounted for along with his sense of fashion.
Bohemian Rhapsody arrives in theaters Nov. 2.
